With version 7.60, Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH (Germany) has introduced the latest package of its firmware and management software for Hirschmann BAT wireless devices.
With its BAT54-F Single and BAT54-F Client, Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH (Germany) has introduced two new products completing the company’s BAT54-F portfolio. Depending on the application, the new devices offer a cost-effective alternative to the established BAT54-F range. Hirschmann BAT products offer proven ruggedness and are characterized by providing very steady and broadband wireless LAN communication.
Fast and reliable information about actual load and wind speed are of immense importance to operators of cranes or other building and construction machinery who need to react to potentially hazardous situations immediately. Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH (Neckartenzlingen, Germany) has introduced a new managed Fast/Gigabit Ethernet Switch to complement its OpenRail product family. The switch is available with 8 or 9 Fast Ethernet ports, 4 of which supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE). The uplink ports can be designed for RJ45 connectors as well as for any customer specific combination of other connectors, such as MTRJ, ST or SC. RJ45 or SFP ports (10/100/1000 Base TX) are provided for Gigabit uplinks and can be equipped with SFP fiber modules (1000 Base FX/SX/LX/LH).
